I feel sometimes like I WANT to believe too much.

IF anyone's ever asked me about some guy or another, my advice is always the same. If you don't like the guy, don't leave him with ANY hope.
Don't leave the door open, don't make him think there's some possibility, some iota of maybe out there. Ambiguity is self delusion's best friend, and guys are masters of making themselves think that someone's interested when they really aren't.

I'm guilty.

So guilty.

And maybe I just should give up. Because when someone keeps leaving, keeps making you use those little bits of hope up, maybe that means that they don't care. Not the way I do.

helenangel was probably right. I'm too fuckin' old to be dealing with this shit. I need to stop being angsty. Stop being hopeful. Start being confident in the things that I KNOW, not the things that I HOPE for. Because this isn't fair to me. Not fair at all.
