lwoodbloohad a great night last night.
I was pissed off for a bit, because the place I WAS going to buy a car from tried to give me the hard sell over the phone. ugh. Come on, I'm not buying a car, much less a USED car, sight unseen, especially from a rental car place. I don't think I'm going to go back there. But, I must say, Rach and Michele were right back in february. I should have taken that money and put it towards something new or used. I wouldn't be in the shit now. Well, I'm not in the shit. But I'm a bit more in debt than I'd like.
But after this, I talked to Manny, and we went to Target. Wow. I love target. I mean...we were a mess! I bought a new hamper, it smells like cedar, and now my room smells like cedar and apples and cinnamon. I bought some easy to cook stuff too, because I'm still learning, and I want to cook more. But we had a great time. We aren't going to have to buy all that common stuff that we bought from associated previously. That makes me happy; it's another monthly expense out the window.
And....we bought the new outkast. We only listened to the Andre 3000 side last night...there's this REALLY good skit about one night stands. And the music is BANGIN'! Andre does all this good falsetto shit. We were singing along on the way home, and THEN we put it on the home stereo. It was wild. :)
I was going to go see the Rev last night, but the tixx fell through. Which sucks. But I'm gonna see SO much good stuff in november. Gonna see junior senior and the electric six, and then the dirtbombs, and then the detroit cobras. And I'm working the Soledad Brothers show, and seeing Calexico. Calexico's interesting, they're a side project of Giant Sand. I like Giant Sand a lot...so maybe I'll like calexico too, right?
