lwoodblooI've got the mercy seat by nick cave floating through my head, the Cash version. I'm also reading his autobiography today. It's printed on this very white paper, which is a very stark contrast with the black type. I think that's appropriate.
Who here saw the "Hurt" video? Those images of a closed "house of cash" museum were the saddest things I'd seen for a while. He's a national treasure, moreso for my purposes than Elvis, and Elvis has graceland. I hope that we appreciate Cash more now than we did before. I think that's happening with Zevon. Did you know "The wind" made the top 20 albums? Independent label and all. Here's hoping that in browsing their local megastore of some ilk they pick up the last two as well. Zevon, posthumously platinum. I'll buy multiple copies just to make it happen.
