Oh my FUCKING god the Dictators are great live. The Real Kids played first, with John Felice who was with the modern lovers (radio on!). They were cool! Kinda power poppy punky stuff. Good guitars. They did "all kinds of girls". Man, could I sympathize. Totally fucking teenage, in the words of that Kim Fowley guy.

Then the Dictators came out. Top Ten, the guy who played guitar for them, left a while ago, but this is only the second show I've seen without him. with two guitars, there's not much room for the other stuff out front, but now Adny, the bassist is out front and makes the music go BOOM! So yeah, they rocked out. I was hcilling with these two guys, I think they were boyfriends, but who knows, the dictators make people get down like that sometimes. AND this Karen O looking chica with bangs like whoa and a silver spangly dress with matching shoes, but she rocked and that's all that counts.

So they go offstage. WE're all going, encore you new york asshole fucks! And they come out.

Except uncle handsome.

Who comes out.

With a craver case of white castle.

Which they distribute to the crowd.

I had fucking white castle with the dictators.
