It's been a couple of days since I REALLY posted. It's been that sort of week, where I'm not feeling very well, and no one cuddlable is around, and no, I'm not fishing for them either. But it's disconcerting when you have love to give, and there are people who want, and you jsut can't connect with them somehow, some way.

I just flipped on "Blood on the Tracks". Tangled up in Blue is the first track. I forgot how much I loved this song....and that's quite a bit. I'm not a massive dylan fan, but his lyrics have this dense literary quality to them that I quite like.

I think I'm going to put on sports night. Maybe not. Maybe I'll just sit and listen to Dylan.

Tangled Up In Blue is definitely one of the best Dylan tracks, hands down. And Something about that song always leaves me feeling incomplete, but I love it.

interesting way to put it. It's so oblique, but you know what he's talking about, you know? I feel like he's singing about me or something I know about.

For the moment, I send my love, cuddles and hugz over LJ and the internet. I'll see you in a couple weeks and then you can have as much hugging as you like.

That's exactly how I feel. Or at least, close. My exact words would be more like:
I rather hate his voice, but damn can the man write a song.

I agree that his lyrics are often just.. amazing. He just shouldn't sing. :)

My own favorite is probably Forever Young. When the Pretenders covered it, I found out how much of a good song it really is.
