Last night was awesome.

I was supposed to work the Taking Back Sunday show for Lifebeat. I met

feroluce
at the show, and we caught some dinner beforehand. Now, the show was sold out, so we went to
some sheisty guy on the street and bought some tix, which on further examination were sheistier
than the dealer. Hmm. This could be bad. Her cousin calls, says she missed her train. Her
cousin was supposed to meet us at the show. We parted ways, she going to penn and me
going into irving and getting set up. I got there, and there were two people there already!
My friend arabia, who works in the office, was there with her friend Kristin, who I had met
at the mandatory meeting a couple of weeks earlier. They had set up the table already, we
were sharing it with the crew from Atticus records. Cool guys. Arabia, Kristin, and I chilled out,
talked to kids about safe sex, and gave out scads of condoms and lube. I had to keep reminding
myself, "These are kids who may have been in diapers when I started high school. So act accordingly."
We were done by eight something, so I went downstairs, read the Voice, and waited for alice
and joy to arrive. I looked out the door, saw them....but they walked away. I got a call a
second later. Guess what? The suspect tickets were in fact sheisty. Very disappointing,
because I'd only gotten to catch a bit of one band, AND the fact that my friends wouldn't
get to see ANYTHING. That bit hard. SO I left the venue. We got some stuff to eat, then
we sat in union square park for an hour or so and just bullshitted. We came to the conclusion
that we all needed to have sex at some point in the near future. Alice seems most likely to
have some horizontal hula action in the near future. AS opposed to moi. I think that a
monastery would be a nice place to hang out for a while, no sex for me. Unless of course,
I had a WIFE of some kind. *laughs* Baby makin' action.

Then I got home, it was really late. I got to chat with roomie, popped online for a bit, and
knocked out.
