Since I ran out of TV Crack (Gossip Girl. MY GOD THE BAD IT HURTS US BUT I CAN'T STOP WATCHERING), I looked for something new. I downloaded series one of Life on Mars.

OMFG.

As I relayed to the Leopard Lady tother day, someone was running away from John Simm, and I couldn't help thinking WHY ARE YOU RUNNING YOU CAN'T GET AWAY HE'S A TIME LORD. I don't even WATCH Dr. Who. There's something demonstrably wrong with me.

My reactions:

*The above Dr. Who reference.

*DCI Gene Hunt is my new favorite anti hero.

*The Tyler and Hunt team ups are the best part of the damned show.

*The music is far too awesome.

*Clowns are SCARY.

*AND IT'S IN MANCHESTER.

Gossip Girl is like a trainwreck... you feel terrible watching it, but you just can't look away.
It's painfully addictive.

Emphasis on the pain part. And there are far too many "Hrm-Spanking Blair Waldorf would be the social event of the new year" moments in my head. I'm waiting for her to hook up/get mauled by the big boriqua janitor who used to be a Latin King at school. Slumming it and all.

Life on Mars rocks. Watched both series 1 and 2 in a few days and it is all kinds of awesome.

Also, the pre-air pilot for the American version..... SUCKS.
