I've been thinking a lot about the current nominee for the supreme court.

I think he's going to be a decent justice.

He's not going to be Scalia. Or Thomas. And I think that's a good thing.

He doesn't seem like a wild eyed right wing lunatic.

Sal, what's your thoughts on this?

I am not Sal, BUT, I think he could be a decent choice as well. I think he'll uphold the law rather than trying to exercise his own agenda.

According to the Reagan era docs that where *finally* released, he doesn't really like immigrants or ambitious homemakers who want to go to law school.

I was looking forward to Judge Reinhold being named to the court.

Sometime you have to choose between getting punched in the head and getting kicked in the head.

If Roberts is another Rehnquist, ie a non-nutball conservative than it's a punch. Packing the court with another Scalia and another Thomas would be a kick in the head.
