I got music on the brain tonight. Yeah, I know, like always. But some nights...some nights I feel like I've got a whole radio station in my head. Music for me has always reflected mood, and moreso lately. I downloaded some mp3s of some damned cool garage bands, and they've been sustaining me musically for two days now. But I just picked up the Dirtbombs second disc, Ultraglide in Black. Whoa daddy. Two basses, two sets of drums, and the lead singer/guitarist sounds like James Brown on a bad day after gargling with JD and gasoline. I love it.

I'm going to see siouxie and the banshees on satday. Looking forward to it, seeing it with someone new from the group. This should be interesting. I hope I'm not totally shy. But I wasn't with aNY of the other people....so jump ball.
