The ren faire rocks the house, y'all.

lwoodblooI went to the faire with some peoples from college I knew. My buddy ken demanded everyone get dressed up. I love to get dressed up for these thingz. I wore my old wizard's robe, and planned to buy a hat at the faire. A friend of mine was so totally right about the faire; shit you'd stare at outside is almost commonplace. So much cleavage. A lot of skin. I amused myself by just talking to whoever I wanted to. Lord. It's so easy to talk to people at the faire.
We bought crap, ate more food than we thought we ever could, and ogled pretty boys and girls. There's something about a day where you eat all foods on a stick, play with swords, and look at cleavage. Lord, but was it hot though...we drank so much water. Tried some mead this year. Honey wine....somethign I could enjoy for a while. It was so different from what I thought it would be...I've read about it in various places, and it was somewhat different. But I liked it.
Got to hang out with my friend B and his girl Casey. They're great. They want me to come up and run a game for them. I'll do it, likely september. I miss them when I don't see them. Casey's online a lot, and we talk all the time. I see B online a lot too, and we talk as much as possible. So it was good to face to face with them, give and get hugs. That kinda dealio.
Ah, this was lovely. Per ken, we were in the town of all geeks. :)

merina888 will agree with me on this one s:) and somehow i don't see ken & co. objecting, either.
(of course, in spite of the huge hassle this year, i'd also want to drag you lot to pennsic or such, too. i like faire, but i find SCAdian stuff a little, i dunno, interactive. lots more opportunity to participate rather than just watching. and camping! camping is fun!)
