Yeah, well. I have basically been off caffeine for about...oh two years. With small slips. A coke here, a pepsi there. However....today we made an error in judgment and had an iced tea. *feels his temples* Someone just shoot me now. This post was going to be about the movie Minority Report, which I just saw. But the throbbing back there on my occiput is making rational thought hard. But I'm going to gamely charge ahead.

Minority report was a very odd movie. It really brought together a lot of issues about ethics and morality. The idea of "knowing" someone is guilty before they actually make that decision is....well...kinda fuzzy, dontcha think? It shines a light on the ideas of predestination and free will. Can I make decisions that affect my life, or is everything really decided and what I do/not do has no bearing on what happens. I at least like to think that I have control over my destiny. The last scene, which I won't reveal, totally brings it all into sharp focus, where one of two momentous things will happen. And you can't even pick it there for a minute. Maybe I'm just shallow...but it really made me think and contemplate how I think things are, how they really are, and how they might be.

I love riding my bike. But let me tell you....a numb **** is nothing to laugh at, and I really would prefer to retain feeling there. Public service message for y'all.

resnick the uncomfortable.

Oh a guessing game, yea?

no tolerance for caffeine, eh? can be a problem sometimes... like when it's 3:00 in the morning and the party is STILL trying to find their way through that maze the GM has them in.
(though it's worse when you're the GM and they managed to come within a few inches of the solution without finding it)

Dude, I get through it, if i do, with lots and lots of fuckin' water. Eating salad too. Don't ask me why.

Tolerance isn't the ish, bro. I have high high high blood pressure and a history of cardiac disease in my family. And....well....I don't want to die. Pretty simple choice.
