Fuck it.

Good parts of the weekend.

Saw gram today. She was in truly rare form. I've gotten good at reading non verbal communication from her, since she doesn't talk so much these days. I read to her for about an hour. I have a cold, so my voice/throat are not at their best, but I gutted it out best I could because, well, she's granny and any pleasure I can give her these days is important to me.

Saw Tom Jones last night. Damn. If anyone gets a chance to witness this guy live, I say do it. Great show. Great band. Amazing frontman. Held the audience riveted. I was duly impressed. It's odd, though, when I work lifebeat shows for older audiences, the reactions I get. The younger kids probably are more used to the idea of condom distro.

It was in San Deigo, at a Xmas show, and it was "What's new pussycat"... Epic.
