ODB passed away.

I don't like a lot of hip hop, but I've always admired ODB for his eccentric sense of rhythm and a distinctive voice. He'd always been plagued with problems, and like Rick James, I'd thought he'd gotten past them.

Fuck.

ODB died of what sounds like a heart attack yesterday while he was in the studio.

i think the most depressing thing is was he was the only mainstream rapper left who had the guts to say or do whatever he wanted. all there are left now are usher types who strive for mediocrity.

i kinda find some consolation in the fact that he probably lived 2000 lives in the time normal people have half of one.

Yeah. You're absolutely right. ODB lived exactly how he wanted. I find it tragic that he was sick, mentally. I find it tragic that I think he got taken advantage of.
