My father has a habit of "Gotcha"ing me when bad things happen in the family. He never really gives me a hint of what's going on, just kinda takes a deep breath and "BAM!".

Example? Mom, Dad, and Jeff went skiing this weekend. They didn't call when they got in. Now, generally, when I've done the same, Mom has given me some static, especially because i'm never driving ten minutes from home. No, it's epic voyages to Rochester or Maryland or the like. You know. So I call mom at work to needle her. No answer. Now, it's 910, she usually is at work at that time, but you know, nature calls n stuff, so I called dad. Poked at him a little, and then he, *deep breath*+*BAM"s me. MOm got home last night, staggered out of the car, and went RIGHT TO BED. 104 degree fever, TKO in the first, Virus wins, Resnick is down for the count. Mom stayed home. Mom NEVER stays home. So I called her to talk to her just now, she's feeling MUCH better, but in the aftermath of our fiasco from last night, I'm glad I didn't call home.

More later.
