sattruckguy and his physicsmoose move to their new place in pomona. Nice digs, I plan on crashing on that couch again real soon now.
After the disaster that was friday night, and the confusion that was saturday, I went out to see Miracle withgalatea_world. Yeah, it was yid venting 2004 stylee. Good movie, by the way. My friends who like hockey have been startled by how well Kurt Russell played the now deceased herb brooks. I love sports movies, and this is one to be added to the pantheon, IMHO. We then went to this cool bar/tea house on seventh ave in brooklyn, I forget the name, but it rocked my socks. They had HUGE mugs of hot apple cider with some cinnamon stick in it, plus the ground stuff on top. While i was in the dumps, this was delish and will be sampled again. OH! And a really nice list of tap beers, and if I liked beer better, I would have partooken. But then we went our separate ways. Went home, and as I'd agreed to give Mister Castellanos the apt. to himself, I let myself in quietly, knocked out, and tried to sleep. Didn't do so well. Sunday morning, Manny and I talked a bit, laughed about our miscommunication, and got our peoples together for the mods we ran that day. Pretty terrible, actually. But it was nice hanging with Dima, the Eberhardts, Perry, and Manny. But then I just wanted them to GO! I get weird about home, and wanting my time. Right sisterred? ;-) So, we got everyone out, Nessa came over to hang with manny, and I'm at a loose end. Eventually, my friend Sandi and I went out to dinner and chatted for a while. Then, today, I went out to Lake Grove to hang with the Eberhardts. They're canadian. Awesome peoples, love 'em a lot.
