I'm gonna guess that there were a number of young women who saw black hawk down for the Josh Hartnett Factor. I'm also gonna guess that they left pretty quick too. Just finished watching this kick in the balls of a movie. Very painful to watch. And it's funny. We lost many more guys in the first thirty seconds at omaha beach than we did in twelve hours in mogadishu in 1993. It seems so much more tragic this way. Someone said at one point that one death is a tragedy, while ten thousand is a statistic. Nineteen guys died that day. 19. Nineteen guys who were in a fucked up situation in a place we didn't need to be in. At what point do you say, "Look, you guys keep killing each other, there's going to get to a point where we need to leave." And I think it was WAY WAY WAY before this. I love my country. More than life itself sometimes. Even as fucked up as we are, we don't have the problems that other places do. Maybe we could use socialized medicine. but then, where would innovation come from? That sounded confused.

Suffice it to say, I was affected quite a bit by this flick. Too much stupidity by too many people caused 19 deaths.

WEll, there you go. Hope oyu enjoyed.
