Saturday sucked pretty badly. So I'm going to skip to sunday. I slept in a little bit, then went to see Jeff play basketball. I took some pictures, so if anyone wants to see, I'll post them. Then I went to see granny. Her voice is still really really soft, so it's hard to understand her, but I'm trying. Then I went with family back to the house and had some lunch, before the SB. Good game, by the way. Saw most of "The Right Stuff". I've read the book SO many times, it was a joy to actually see it. Sam shepard, however, as Yeager would not have been my choice. Tommy Lee Jones, that's who I was thinking of. I find it amusing, too, that Chuck Yeager's IN the movie, but I kinda figured he would be. I do like Scott Glenn as Alan Shepard. Very appropriate.

Spending time with my dad yesterday was priceless. I really treasure those times together.

TRS is a great movie. I lived in lancaster for a few years and have had the opportunity to meet yeager a few times at the air show at edwards air force base. he was nice enough to me but word from the soldiers is that he is a "major asshole".
oh, and sam shepard is HOT

i would hit that twenty years after the right stuff came out. not only is he sexy but he is a brilliant playwright and genuis=sexy. yes, lancaster is in the high desert. my friend's husband was in the airforce so i managed to meet quite a few test pilots. not to stereotype (hahahaha) but they were all cocky and....vertically challenged. on the other hand they had excellent eye sight.
