lwoodblooGran's feeling a lot better. I think it was the best wishes from you guys. She's eating, talking a lot more, and gave my dad the look of death several times. I think that's a good sign, don't you?
Say Buddy Guy and John Mayer last night. John Mayer? Motherf*cker can actually play the blues. He played "Cold Shot" which was kinda natural since on bass and drums were Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton, the original Double Trouble rhythm section. Close your eyes and you were blown away. Date: 2003-12-30 06:25 am (UTC)I'm not saying he doesn't have some potential (despite the fact that his voice drives me bonkers). He's also still legions better than Jason Mrazarazmatazz (or whatever his name is) and some of the others out there.
You're right about him ripping off DMB's sound, though - I have had arguments with people about how "Your Body is a Wonderland" and "Bigger than my Body" are NOT DMB or from Dave Matthews's solo album.
Why are people so dumb? It burns us, it does...
