Good weekend, snow and all. Missed the dictators friday, which I'm pissed about, but oh well. WEather was crap, and after I shoveled for a while, I was done for.

Saturday, after things calmed quite a bit, we drove to CT for a con. Had a great time. Hung out with my peoples, ate bad food and drank caffeinated drink. We got in at about 1, after leaving right before 12. Honestly, things had calmed down SO much it was almost a routine drive. THERE WAS NO UNMELTED SNOW ON THE ROAD!

Saw my brother today. God DAMN I love that boy. Then, I settled in at the remnants of the 50th bday soiree my parents were at. A buddy of mine who used to MC a party I went to every wednesday was waitressing, so we kibitzed a bit, and then I got a free mimosa. THAT is awesome. Chilling with my 'rents, drinking free booze with an old friend. On a sunday.

Now I'm cleaning the house a bit, and wondering if my roomie will be emerging today at any point.

there is this really cool place in the city that gives you unlimited mimosas, champagne, or bloody mary with your lunch. and pound cake. yum.
