It's rare that I've been this happy without regular kissing/sex.

The car's working out just dandy. It's nice to not have to pray that the motherfucker doesn't blow up when you start it. I named him. I call my black 2000 mercury sable Django. I'm tripping up to Tappan, NY tonight to go to a halloween party. It'll be nice to spend some time with people with whom I do not share bills of some sort(translation: getting away from my roomate).

I'm listening to the Kinks again. I really do need to get a copy of "The Kinks are the Village Green Preservation Society." There was a story in the recent issue of Rolling Stone, I think, which detailed WHY the kinks were PNG here in the states for a while. More's the pity, for them and The Pretty Things.

I was talking to my roomate last night during one of our late night drives around queens/the BX, and how much background knowledge we wish we had about certain subjects, and how much we take for granted. I talk a great deal about anthropology/archaeology, and we end up getting down into nitty gritty methodological discussions. He wants not to take for granted certain ideas/subjects that I think are healthy to take for granted so you can talk about the larger subject at hand. But he keeps me grounded to fundamentals, and that's positive. It keeps your thought process rigorous. (damn, I almost typed rigourous there. Veddy veddy english)

I love hearing Jennifer Charles sing " So sir....if you'll....pardon me....the stiff one is my....specialty".

Need a new victim.
