The long walk home

Verizon's DSL: Not so good. We've been down since friday night, and I was sick for a week before that, so I've not posted in a while.
I went to Owasco in upstate new york this past weekend to see so many people.....there were 12 of us, longtime friends, mostly from college, or those people's sig others.

I can't even describe how much fun we had just sitting around and bullshitting and playing games and just bonding. I finally got to spend some real time with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
niamh1's S.O., who amuses me to no end, and we got to talk too. We're both telecom people right now, and pretty good at it too. I sometimes forget that I have an impact on people's lives, you know? Nick, who is Jess's fiance, told me some funny stories about people who worked in the collge union while I was there and after I left. Really cheered me, especially me sitting there coughing my nuts off with a sinus infection.
